I was taking ibuprofen at night and had rectal bleeding after photon radiation, 3 months past and longer. When I stopped taking the ibuprofen, the blood on the toilet paper went away. If your using ibuprofen, you might want to change to a different pain relief.

@edtrucks Thanks for the suggestion. I am taking meloxicam (prescription level Alleve). I never considered whether this might be a problem. Thanks for the suggestion!

@edtrucks Bleeding is a risk from all NSAID pain relivers. I am limited to Tylenol, acetaminophen, to avoid bleeding from radiation proctitis.
