@joseflesh You might try Azo Urinary Pain Relief. It's over the counter but is the same med they gave me in the hospital. If you can, keep your doctor in the loop. Of course Tylenol might help to.

Thanks for the advice and encouragement. I am most concerned if burning and pain still "normal" after 7 weeks post procedure. My appointment is not until the end of January. I will try to see my Urologist before that time. I can understand the frequency and urgency, but the burning and pain is getting old. This is not fun. Everything I have read points to a lingering swelling of the prostate as the culprit. It truly takes a toll because it does not go away, nor it seems to improve.

I will call next week to see the urologist ASAP. More to follow...thanks!
