The good news is is that Paxil withdrawal is not life threatening, though it may feel as though it is.
40 mg isn’t a small dose. The longer u were taking it, the slower the taper should be.
Lifestyle supports like exercise, healthy eating, sleep, and journaling Can help you cope with your symptoms. You should take the cloazapam at night, unless specifically told not to, so it can help with insomnia as well as anxiety.
For the diarrhea, I would recommend starting with the BRAT diet along with plenty of fluids and salt, pedialyte has electrolytes (salts) in the correct proportion but I find it tastes terrible. You could try drinking it very cold. Pediatricians tell moms to freeze it and give it in popsicle form.
Take the clonazepam as directed but stop it as soon as possible.
BRAT DIET
B babanas
R rice, a little soggier than normal helps too
A applesauce
t toast
Once your diarrhea improves, add a bit of unseasoned chicken , not fried. Once you are on your way to normal bowel movements, continue avoiding fatty, sugary, and dairy-heavy foods until stools normalize completely.
Blood in the stool means the diarrhea likely has nothing to do with the Paxil wean. Call your doctor
Most of the time these symptoms are limited to a few weeks.
Are u otherwise healthy? In particular, any disease of your liver or kidneys? Do your legs swell? What other meds do u take?
Many think heavy duty pharmaceuticals are the answer. I don't know the answer but the singie biggest turn around I have ever seen is with a friend, who was often suicidal, who decided to train for a marathon and exhausted themselves every day in training, the natural chemicals whatever they were, (or was it even chemicals?) turned their life around. As I said not the sort if answer you were probably looking for, just the one that I saw that worked the best. Certainly not one that any drug company would recommend, except maybe as an "add on" to the drug they were pushing.
