I had a ruptured lumbar disc and multiple car accidents, so I've been on extended release morphine capsules twice daily more than 15 years. I also have another opioid and use CBD drops when I have pain flares.
I am 82 years old and also meditate and do Qigong.
All these have enabled me to drive short distances and walk at least twice daily. You tube has many videos to choose from to help lessen pain and improve my quality of life.
Good luck, Ron

I am patient for long time and swim to help use muscles that are not being used Morphine is no miracle and allows me daily activities. I accept the fact pain never quits. Just helps me not suffer too bad on Morphine for 19 years j

@geezer43 I am 76 with pain from disc herniations and disc degeneration with recent nerve ablation partly helping. I have been taking morphine at night and early morning. During the day I have a regular regime of Tylenol. My husband drives instead of me as my knee joints are wrecked and seize up later waking me in night. I feel shut in and wonder if I drive would any morphine in my bloodstream be risking problems or am I just over cautious.
