I am 83 and the person above. I completed five weeks of radiation at MAYO and go back in three months for new CT scans to see if the radiation was successful in stopping the growth. Dedifferentiated Liposarcoma is very rare and you are the first one in a year that has the same one, although in a different area of the body. I also have contacted a Naturopathic doctor that is trying to help me build up my immune system so the body will be able to attack and destroy the cancer. Mine is already stage 4 because it has spread so much, but we are working on it.
