Am unsure if there is a connection- but about an hour or so after taking my once daily 4mg of blood pressure med, my heart rate suddenly increases (without exercise,) and I feel like I need to sit down. I have never fainted, and when I take deep breaths, it resumes to normal beats per min.
My Dr. thinks that with my age ( 84), the pill lowers my blood pressure too fast, and my heat reacts to this...so she suggested I take my pill at night.
...but I am wondering if anyone else has had this symptom?
(I've had two Cardio workups in the past two years---perfectly normal with no afib, etc. But I get these
episodes now almost daily.) thanks for any suggestions/comments
