Posted this discussion before Thanksgiving, but even more critical at Christmas. Everywhere I go, there are sweets, alcohol, and everyone is overeating. At Thanksgiving, I did remarkably well. My plate looked like a kid's plate, with a few bites of a variety of dishes. Hopefully, at XMAS, I will be able to continue this pattern.

My goal is to eat less and keep busy. Holidays do not need to be about food.

What are your strategies for this week?

@roch - did you actually use a smaller plate, or just take small portions?
