@cochiese2033 I am suggesting a physiatrist, a rehabilitation doctor, not a physical therapist.
Pain doctors are MDs. They go to medical school, then an anesthesiology residency then a fellowship which is another year. I agree they provide pitiful pain care but they are well trained. I think there is a proclivity towards procedures as this has much better reimbursement. It is abhorrent
Generally speaking, radiologists (MDs) read radiology tests. Techs are specifically prohibited from doing so. There may be limited exceptions to this rule.
