Neuropathy treatment
I have chemotherapy-induced neuropathy. It got worse over time. I have only numbness, no pain. It was getting me down, physically and mentally so I decided to focus hard on treating it. My research showed acupuncture to be the top effective treatment. So I’m doing acupuncture 2 to 3 times a week. A month in, I believe it is working. Friends and family say I am walking better. So I am going to keep at it. Plus, I find it relaxing. Also, I pulled out my foot massager and use that for 15 minutes twice a day. I bought a red light boot and will try that. Further, I ran across some research in pubmed noting that the supplements curcumin and boswellia can be effective against neuropathy so I’m taking those now. With acupuncture running the show, I’m pulling out all the stops to ease this condition. Before, I was lazy on treating it. But seeing progress from acupuncture got me motivated. I will report again in a month or two on how this is all working.

Glad you are seeing improvements! I’ve considered it myself. Acupuncture has helped me for other issues before.

2 ReactionsB12 makes the insulation for our nerves. I take B12 methylcobalamin daily.
Alcohol reduces B12.

1 Reaction@jamessaxo Is someone monitoring your B12 lab values? The problem is absorption for older folks. Sometimes the results are better with B12 injections rather than oral supplements.
