I'm 59 with severe osteoporosis. I'm otherwise quite healthy. I only got a DEXA scan because I lost height rather quickly in 2 years. The results were a shock to me! I'm scared of the drugs but even ore scared of fracturing my spine and ending up with chronic pain and an inability to continue my active lifestyle. I'm going on Foteo and hoping for the best. I don't want Evenity since it comes with the risk of vertabrae fractures if you stop it without a powerful anti-reabsorbative to follow it up. With Forteo you can lose gains without an anti-reabsorbative to follow it up, but the rebound isn't as drastic. Best of luck to you and your decision.
