Has anyone ever been prescribed Gabapentin for neurogenic bladder.
I Experience bad side effects when taking Oxybutynin, Mirabegron or Solifenacin.

Hi,
I have been taking gabapentin for about 3years. Not for my
bladder cancer, however. I take it because of neurological problems I have with my legs and feet due to severe back surgery. I'm in my mid 80's and it helps me deal with hot, prickly feeling I have in my lower extremities.
I really haven't have a problems with this medication. It just took a bit to regulate it as to time of day and amount to take.
Good luck with it!

@jimfisher22 Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I have kidney and bladder issues but am not familiar with the neurogenic bladder condition. I’ve had some experience with Gabapentin, but like @85yosk8r it was for a neurological condition called peripheral neuropathy. Hopefully some other members will join this discussion who can relate to the use of Gabapentin for bladder conditions. Have you started the med & how are you feeling?
