I was diagnosed with IBS before my diagnosis of CP, EPI and severe protein calorie malnutrition (we need an acronym for that one!). I'm finding Creon is triggering the IBS. Has anyone else experienced this?

How are things going with the pancrelipase (Creon)? Are you finding it is still triggering IBS symptoms?

I could never fully define what triggered my IBS. Since starting Creon, there has been a struggle with suddenly severe diarrhea at times. It seems that Creon can trigger both constipation and diarrhea. I have had IBS issues off and on, with no clear reason as to why it would come or go. It seems my EPI led to the development of SIBO, which also complicates the picture. With EPI, SIBO, IBS alternating, Creon, and whatever other bacteria I might come across, occasionally forgetting to take the medicine, it feels like it could be a lot of things. It could also just be the dosage.
