@crosschek geez, I am sorry about this diagnosis. TNBC can be difficult due to a lack of druggable targets. It sounds like your doctor has been really good about gathering the needed information.
Your wife is young, and it is especially hard to think about cancer when you are young. I was in my 30’s and it definitely leads to different decisions, and a willingness to go further to treat the cancer.
I know that I read a ton of abstracts about research for TNBC, because that is considered one of the biggest needs.
Is your wife being treated at a cancer center or teaching hospital? Any possibility of clinical trials?

@auntieoakley we are hoping she will qualify for a clinical trial in the new year, however, we are told she must stop taking Capecitebine to allow a mass to develop in order for her to be considered for the trial. We are not at a teaching hospital but at BC Cancer Center in Victoria BC. Curious, what type of cancer did you have? Was it TNBC? If so, can I ask what you did to treat the cancer?
