I had Cystocele and rectocele repair 10 days ago and continue to have painful bladder spasms. Is this common for others?

I am over 3 months post surgery and still have pain when sitting. I take ibuprofen 600 mg with Tylenol 1000 mg 2-3times per day to take the edge off. Have been taking meds for bladder spasms, using estrogen cream, and doing daily pelvic exercises from a specialized PT. Doctors say I am on target for healing and that it may take a year for complete healing to occur! Any other suggestions to ease the pain would be most appreciated!
