Hi Thank you so much for the information. I am so glad that I was not the only person has such issue. I have also been to a Rheumatologist & he also found nothing wrong with me. I gave up going to the doctors too. It's driving me up to the wall because I can't enjoy food like I used to. Eating is a joy in life that I have to give up since 2021. Like you, I chew gums all day long to mask the horrible salty taste in my mouth. I am thinking of going to see a herbalist because I have been told it could be hormonal. I will definitely share with you as to what the herbalist has to say after my visit.

@salinanwhispers Thanks for responding to my note. Did the Rheumatologist or any of the other specialists feel that your issue was from the dry mouth related to Sjorgrens? At first that is what my dentist believed and she gave me a gel, a spray, a rinse, none of which helped. Several doctors said that I was just not drinking enough so I doubled my fluid intake and that didn't help either. Yes, very frustrating to see everyone else enjoying food but when I eat I know that it will only end with the awful taste. If I had my choice I'd probably only eat cheerios or anything else bland but I don't want to make my husband's life miserable too so I try to eat the same thing unless it's something I just can't tolerate. Good luck with the herbalist and let me know if it helps!!!!
