@tweetypie13 i have recently torn a meniscus in my knee and I cannot take NSAIDs of any kind. I took the 8 hour maximum Tylenol with zero expectations.

Surprisingly about five hours after taking it, I do get some improvement. Enough to walk around a bit with minimal pain. But it only lasts a couple of hours if that. So I save it and time it for those times I know I will want to walk without severe limping - like grocery shopping because aside from major pain, I get concerned that too much limping may hurt my hip.

I have not used the Tylenol you are referring to. I use the ARTHRITIS Tylenol, which matches the symptoms of PMR. I will say, I take one BEFORE I do the strenuous events, like hike or walking the golf course. I’ve if I have significant aches after my events, I will take a second pill. My body needs the relief, which in turn provides relief for my “peace of mind”.
