Hi All,
just received biopsy results of
Endocervical polyp and fibroid; polypectomy: - Endometrial endometrioid adenocarcinoma, consistent with FIGO grade 2.

I think I’m in shock because I don’t feel anything. I don’t know what I’m supposed to feel… I’ve read the definitions of the above, including the FIGO grade.

I just switched out of the insurance that diagnosed this to another carrier. Right now that is worrying me more than the actual diagnosis. I live alone away from family, but I know I’m not alone… 69, turning 70 soon.

No bleeding, but back pain. I’m really angry at the system and the doctors, particularly the PCP’s who provide 20 minutes of time to discuss my “health concerns.” I asked one PCP about treatment for being obese and she told me to go to over eaters anonymous, which there are none where I live. Two years ago, I went to a pelvic exam and it was the most bizarre gynecological exam I’ve ever had in my life.. the doctor was clearly uncomfortable and unused to using a speculum. Totally ridiculous and bizarre and it took me two more years to get to see this really wonderful doctor and surgeon and through an ultrasound found a mass on my cervix and a fibroid. She’s is filling in for a doctor on pregnancy leave at the clinic I go to and is leaving December 31…

I’m angry. So angry…

@emeryenglish333 Be vigilant about your concerns and research everything. Good luck and Merry Christmas. My journey started on Christmas Day 2024 and I am thankful I am here for this Christmas. this year. I will be 81 soon so that's my next hurdle.
