Can Neuropathy be cured?

I have had a number of people tell me I'm mistaken, I'm wrong and I'm lying, don't bore with your negative speach. Here is my story!
In 2016, I was evaluated by a very highly respected Neurologist(including the electrical tests and needle, feather, and cold spoon test) and diagnosed with advanced Neuropathy. He explained that the only thing that will help me is 3 or 4 levels of pain killers over the next several years to get me through declining from where I am, to a cain to a walker to a wheel chair to bed ridden.
I was hoping not to use any drugs if possible. I did a lot of research and reading and was frustrated. I found that there were therapys that were helping severely wounded Iraqy vets where healing was difficult. Thats all.
After 6 months or so I heard about a Chiropractor that was using new technology for Neuropathy and having positive results.
I called and got an appointment and testing and he found I had 95% loss in feeling in my feet and ankles. He recommented a therapy that uses electrical stimulation at a certain frequency in a foot bath and the second therapy was a red light therapy for my thighs. 30 minutes per day for each.
In 3 months I had achieved very noticeable increase in feeling in my feet and ankles. In less than a year I was back to work with no concerns about my gate or loss of balance.
Before these therapys I had balance problems, tripping going up steps, tripping walking on carpet, I had 2 falls, and a complete lack of confidence walking outside. Not any more. Believe it or don"t.
