@linda90 Good morning, Yes I'm cancer free... sorry to hear what your dealing with 🙁 at first I had really bad dry mouth I drank a lot of water. now I'm producing to much saliva now. My side effect we're nerve damage, which is now effecting my speech, nerves in tongue and the muscle in swallowing. I'm in speech therapy and on a feeding tube for now. working hard to get some normal back in my life. Take it slow, do your research and if you don't get your questions answer that makes sense to you keep knocking on different doors.
Stay strong you got this girl 🙂

Best

@cskippy My cancer was tonsil cancer 20 years ago and over the years I have had numerous side effects. I am now on a feeding tube and have been since July 2024 because of aspiration pneumonia caused by swallowing issues. I've been eating nothing by mouth since April of this year. Lately I have been getting an acid taste in my mouth and it worries me as it seems I may have reflux while feeding and it might ruin my teeth. My speech has been effected and I notice my tongue doesn't work as well especially in the back. I have been given exercises that help a little. But my throat seems to be closing up back there. The dry mouth has caused gum recession too!
