What type of yearly checkup do you have?

My cancer wasn't lobular. I do have dense tissue in the remaining breast. Do some clinics recommend an MRI even if not lobular?
I see my surgery group tomorrow and will have a mam and ultrasound first. I suspect I will then be seen by them annually since it has been over a year since my surgery. I see oncology every 6 months as long as I am taking any AI drugs.

@ksue3 :

Hi! ksue:

I am so sorry for what you've been through lately;( We feel your pain and all, for we are your comrades fighting the disease of BC.

My diagnosis for BC was Invasive Ductal Carcinoma; and, I've had category "D" dense breast tissue, so my surgeon does physical checks on me twice a year and schedules a mammogram plus ultrasound alternating with bilateral breast MRI for me every 6 months ever since January of 2023.

Good luck with the followup visit with your surgeon today and best wishes on the journey ahead!
