On Mayo Connect, we do not use AI to respond. Mentors, Moderators, and all participants and posters are real people. We do a careful job to keep AI off the site. However, if you see spam or AI or advertising please report it. And yes, some pages do get less active, and the folks who initially posted may no longer be connected. If you post a specific question and don't get any response it might be worth starting a new discussion. Hope this helps.

This page is active I watch the comments and jump in when appropriate. Great way to learn what others are going thru and share experiences plus have support. I’m a net cancer patient. Started with bowl block found it in my intestines has spread to my ovary and liver.
Ovary’s removed liver spots are wait Watch and treat with lanreotide injections. Welcome to the group,

Michelle

Yes, I have the Lanreotide high blood pressure situation. I take Amlodipine and Losartan daily to combat it. I was also prescibed Metoprolol, but that causes ED issues for me, LOL. That ain't cool. SO at the present time I'm sticking with the other two meds. It is a challenge for me to keep the BP in check. Walking daily, eating a balanced diet, + keeping weight reasonable all contributes to lower BP for me just like everybody else. My problem is driving in downtown traffic, hiking a half mile to the hospital, then sitting for a BP check! It's gonna be high, I'm not resting. 🙂

@jlsgt
BP monitors are quite reasonable these days (I even have one on my smartwatch), but, most pharmacies will have them at their entrance (for free).
