What is best to wear for clothing after a laminectomy?

I have two different surgical opinions:
1. Laminectomy at levels L2-L3 (herniated disc) and L4-L5 (severe stenosis)

2. Laminectomy on just L4-L5.

Husband says less surgery the better. I'm thinking might as well get both done at the same time?

If both areas are producing negative symptoms one surgery makes more sense than having a repeated surgery in the future. If you’ve exhausted all non-surgical treatments surgery is the last resort. Be sure you’re in tiptop health before the surgery if you go that route.

I had a laminectomy at L4-L5 two years ago. I believe that the surgery is a success. The pain is gone and I function better. I agree with less surgery is better, but if I means a better life, I think it is worth it.

How much pain are you getting from L2-3? Front of the hip and thigh and high up on the back of the hip? If no pain, I'd leave it alone. My L2 was so bad I could only walk with both hands on my knees.
