Yes my fasting blood sugar has been 20 points lower than normal. Been on prednisone since last August and can’t wait to taper off. I have been pre-diabetic for over a decade so I have been monitoring it all along. Strangely my A1C turned out to be one tenth of a point higher. It is concerning and finally got an appointment with my endocrinologist this week after waiting months to get in.
Also my blood pressure went up this week after tapering to 5 mg. I think it’s all related to cortisol levels. Also been experiencing nausea. This has not been a fun journey! I am concerned about my body’s response to prednisone. Hopefully doesn’t lead me to diabetes or hypoglycemia.

@caroljeand wow. I hope you can taper soon. This is no joke. Prednisone is scary.
