I bought a copy of Moma Bear on eBay for $10. I did notice some positive change in my feet after applying. The active ingredient is just Magnesium Chloride. This is an inexpensive, low-toxicity chemical. I am thinking of buying this and add 5 to 10% to any common hand lotion to make a large bottle. Another possible magnesium salt is Epsom salts, magnesium sulfate. This is also inexpensive and is sold in every pharmacy. I might try that also. I too noticed that the Moma Bear cream is highly whipped so that there is a lot of air in it and less of the cream so less medicine.

@crossette Here is a report on my effort to make a low cost version of this. First I bought an 8.6 ounce jar of magnesium citrate for $7 at Swansonsvitamins.com. Then I bought a pump bottle of Arm and Hammer hand cream at a local discount store for $3. Any basic hand cream will do. I pumped hand cream into a small jar (the empty Mama Bear jar) and added 2 scoops of the magnesium citrate, which is very soluble. Then stir it into the cream with a small spoon. It seems to work as well as the original Mama Bear cream.
