I have had post nasal drip since getting scarlet fever at 15. Now 86. Luckily mine is not as bad as yours. Do wake up several times. Maybe just as well I live on my own? Air pollution certainly does not help. Actually felt healthy in Cape Cod when facing the ocean. Live in MN far too close to the Burlington Northern tracks and their oil tankers. I use a Neti pot which helps a little (1 tsp NaCl +1 qt warm water (boiled) Sodium without iodine. Guafenesin helps.
