Say no to both. Gabapentin has been shown to contribute to mental problems. (Read that on this forum.) And it makes me slightly dizzy all the time. I stopped it after 4 months. Glad I did.
Lyrica also makes me slightly dizzy. Of all these common drugs that doctors prescribe, none of them help any better than 10% reduction in PN. The only one that doesn't make me slightly dizzy is Cymbalta. Stopped that after a few years because it just does not do much. Strangely I would feel better the day AFTER I took one capsule.
Thanks. So I don’t have to taper off the Gabapentin? Just go right to the Lyrica?
