I am a disabled vet and have VA coverage, and see many community care specialists. I also have private insurance (Mayo is “In Network”) I’m new to Mayo- still waiting for initial appointments. I have a complex set of issues all associated with Autonomic dysfunction, but my local tilt table tests were normal, so the VA doesn’t want to refer me to Mayo. My CCN specialists have already referred me to Mayo. Will Mayo work with the VA and my Private insurance to cover all costs if I am accepted by Mayo as an autonomic patient?

Welcome @luckydog1, You mentioned the VA doesn't want to refer you to Mayo due to your normal tilt table tests but your CCN specialists have already referred you to Mayo. Since you need VA approval along with the Community Care Network approval for the Mayo referral, can you ask the CCN specialists if they can help you get approval for the referral to Mayo?

Welcome to Mayo Connect. It sounds like you have already contacted Mayo about an appointment. When you contacted Mayo, did you share your insurance information?

I would recommend contacting Patient Account Services to ask your specific questions.

General insurance information can be found here:
https://www.mayoclinic.org/billing-insurance/insurance
To contact Patient Account Services at 844-217-9591 (toll-free), Monday through Friday. There is one number for all locations, but your insurance coverage may depend on location.

Hopefully, another veteran who has gone through the process at Mayo can share their experience.

What location are you considering?
