I have FMD from a car accident and surgery. Any trauma to your body can cause this. Look into the Cleveland clinic and Mayo Clinic programs. OT and PT along with the right medications can help.

@katcollins Have you considered EMDR? I’ve not tried it yet, but in my research I’ve read that it can take some of the stress out of a traumatic event.
