check OVER your bill. for double or not given treatments Billing depts make mistakes I got charged for an MRI and a doctor to read it I was to have this MRI but cancelled it a week B 4 as I had it done at Mayo. Felt I would open a spot for somebody else
I took a trip to Poland and Ukraine , yes that country is open During the time I was to have the 1st MRI scheduled well I got a bill from Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee Wi Called their billing dept and they were insistent it was me. I was just as insistent as I told them they must have a really good machine as I was not even in this country for that procedure. They were insistent I said I can send them a copy of my passport which has the stamps & dates of the countries I was in. Finally they backed down But never said we are sorry
SO a month later they sent me bill for a doctor appt I did 3 months B 4 this suppose MRI Sent them a copy of the cancelled check Never got a sorry for that mistake either And they tried to charge me for drugs I was never admitted into this hospital or in their facility on the suppose date they gave me these drugs IV
Friend of mine had breast cancer and this same hospital kept double billing her She had to fight with them every month One does not need this frustration when you are fighting a bad disease
SO the end result is double check those bills

Yes I had that type of situation back in 2021 I fell and broke a bone in my wrist. Got to ER the radiologist took me back for Cray Dr looks at it says yes It was broken but didn't know what bone. I opted for pt. So they take me to nurses station to get a splint on. The two techs look at each other and the guy says I stink at splints just so happen that an met was filling his supplies and they ask him met look at me as to say omg poor person then on top of that they had a monitor on me that wasn't even plugged up. When I went to ortho for therapy he ask why did they put such a big piece of fiberglass on such a little arm, I told him about my experience. He was speechless. They put a brace on my wrist and set up my therapy. The Dr Dr wanted a 1000 for reading an xray that he couldn't even tell what bone I broke. Man am I in the wrong profession lol. Needless to say this added to my anxieties. And they wonder why people don't like hospitals these 2 reasons are enough for me not to. People that I know don't even go to this hospital they go to another county.
