Thanks so much for the words. It means a lot. I am 57 years old. I decided to go through this procedure now rather than later. My prostate size was 65, roughly double of normal.

It is comforting to know these symptoms are not outside of the ballpark for this procedure. Urgent care prescribed CIPRO. The urgency had decreased somewhat. The burning still there. I am taking the last of the anti-spams medication the doctor gave post op.

I am looking forward to a positive outcome and provide support to others through this forum.

@joseflesh yeah I also went to the urgent care when the urologist said I didn't have an infection and they also gave me cipro. Great minds! You're on track, good luck. Smart move getting ahead of it, I wish I had it done earlier, I'm 64 and was at 94cc with a large median lobe.
