@martinkennot I’m so happy for you! It’s always good to hear successful stories. Sadly, on Monday, my son-in-law(no blood relation to my husband and not even of the same ethnicity,) faces surgery for a AAA. He is a VERY healthy 51 yro with a healthy bicuspid valve. I pray that he comes out of it ok. For his 50th b-y 9/2024, he went on a several day hiking trip, alone, carrying 75+ lb wt., and went to an elevation of 13k ft. He was away from all humanity…so fortunate he did not have an episode! He may have had a satellite phone, definitely no cell phone reception. Please wish him well.

@kamvenk i do indeed wish him well. It seems that he is able to face this challenge, and not alone this time. With your support he is sure to be alright.
