Here some suggestions for ya:
1.) See a Functional Medicine Dr. Some insurance companies help pay on it and some don't. Be prepared to pay more for the Dr. visits, etc... I am seeing one right now. My Dr. spends a lot of time with me, she ordered a whole slew of blood work testing on me. It took over an hour for the lab to get all my vials and paperwork ready for it! They should do food testing on you, if they don't please request for it to me done. These are alternative type Doctors who are M.D.'s but are taking the non-traditional route of approaching health care. They do things that other Dr's don't do. When you have more complicated issues or mystery illnesses/pain, you have to get to the nitty gritty details of what is going on. Your primary care Dr. can refer you to other specialists and order tests, mri, ct's, ultrasound, etc... Sometimes you get "everything is normal", when it is not normal. Trust me, it is worth every penny. Or find an internal medicine Dr. who is not affiliated with a hospital or has his own office.
2.) Food Testing- have you had this done before? Any allergies or food intolerances? Have you done a food journal? Try doing a food journal, if you have never done one. I am gluten, dairy, wheat and egg free. I had acid reflux and having diarrhea and throwing up awhile back and got tested and found out I have an intolerance to wheat, gluten, dairy and egg. It has helped me tremendously. Definitely more difficult eating out, but much safer for me. If you have never had the testing, then you don't know. 2 different types of food testing- the lab-bloodwork kind and then the allergy Dr. testing-prick kind in office on your back/arm. Good to have both, but I have gotten different results from each of the tests. Don't rely just on the allergy Dr. testing, as that won't be all accurate. Usually, the bloodwork testing is done by alternative/functional medicine Dr's.
3.) Keep a medical journal of your symptoms. I use Clever Fox's journal for medical issues. It has a symptom tracker in it, and it is great.
4.) Reduce toxins- chemicals in your home/car/area.
5.) use filtered water- I have a reverse osmosis system that is connected to the kitchen sink. Do you drink tap water? Our water has problems. I use a shower filter as well. The filters need to be changed every so often.
6.) cut back on processed foods-frozen meals, take out, boxed type foods, etc...
7.) Use a Chiropractor- if you are open to that. It may be something with your back, where you pulled a muscle and your having pain from that. They do adjustments, most will take an X-ray before adjusting you. You may see relief from that.
8.) Massage therapy- I love getting massages, there is deep tissue and other kinds. I love them. Accupressure is good too. It is worth a try to see if that might help you out.
I am sorry to hear about your pain. I have had pain in my upper right hand part of my abs. A lot of times it is after I have eaten meat. I got an ultrasound and they found out I have fatty liver disease. I had an ultrasound of my liver and spleen. I have granulomas too on my liver and spleen. I have CVID- Primary Immunodeficiency. I see an Immunologist and I do weekly infusions to put "good antibodies" into my body, as my antibodies are on a permanent vacation. I hope this helps and good luck in finding out what is going on.

I have gone to a functional medicone doctor and had lots of expensive tests. I didnt want to take all the herbal pills he ordered.
When this first started, i went to am allergist whi did skin pricks with different antigens. When I left my arms were weeping from reactions. I had to go to a pharmacy for a steroid cream. When I received the report, the allergist said it doesnt mean you cant eat these foods! So why did i do this?? Very vague explanation.
I then went to another allergist who did blood work. The results were interesting and confusing.
One finding said I was highly allergic to hazelnuts. My late husband and I loved the hazelnut dessert at one of our favorite restaurants.
Another finding was positive for egg white but negative for a whole egg. PCP said I could eat eggs. I have one every morning.
I then found a fabulous GI who did testing for dairy etc and said I had IBS. I knew I had gastritis and took pepcid, tums, gasx and antacids.
Endoscopy to determine inflamation or ulcer.
Good luck
Marie
I started myself on pepcid etc and have stayed on that regimen. Eating out is an issue because cannot have black pepper or too much fat
