Wondering about side effects of Tymlos

Wondering about side effects for Tymlos being so commonly really bad described on drugs.com but so often good on this site. They mention after injection some extreme bad back pain, dizziness, nausea,
brain fog, etc., and more, the intensity and longevity being nearly intolerable, with many having to quit in spite of lowering the dose. Some even saying the side effects lasted even after they quit the shots for a while. On this site the reports are far more encouraging, side effects being described as way milder than the drugs.com descriptions. Made me Very Discouraged to read. We are all different of course but it was a shock after reading a lot here. I'm allergic to bisphosphonates, already have horrible Reflux Disease and have had 2 TIA's the last 2 years, so that pretty much rules out everything except Tymlos or Forteo, a grim choice. Anyone else read the reviews on drugs.com for Tymlos?

Has anyone with migraines taken Tymlos, Evenity, or Forte? Were you able to handle any of them without triggering a migraine?

Why is that? And why not here, also?

@victoria93 here I see both the good and the bad experiences…what I seek is real-time learning however it comes…real lived info i might use for myself or another. I happen to really like this site- it’s quite balanced and moderated to keep quacks out.

That's how I felt about this site, too. Glad you think so too.

I've been on Tymlos for a year and will be seeing my endo next week for my official progress visit however I can see from my bloods that my bone remodeling levels are back to pre-menopause levels. I have tolerated the drug well. I had a little dizziness at first but it did not last long. I just moved slowly out of bed, stayed well hydrated and didn't dip my head down (no down dog poses!) until I adjusted. I have had some increasing constipation lately but do not know if it is from the drug. I know it is scary to take this step but I am feeling very positive about it and hope you have a good experience.

Thank you for telling me. I'm so grateful for everyone's stories. What did you do to stay hydrated, water or sports drinks (which I can't take because of reflux)? I'd love to know.
