I was on Lupron and Zytiga for 2 years. I started at the age of 62. Before taking these drugs I always had energy, exercised, and never felt fatigued. Hot flashes I noticed typically while sleeping. The fatigue was very extreme for me. I never felt so drained in my life. I didn't stay in bed all day, I still work for a living, but if i could have I would have loved to stay in bed. I did continue to exercise, but the desire to do so it was minimal. I always had been self motivated, but now I had none. The fatigue was brutal. The hot flashes I didn't notice after 6 months. Some people get brain fog, but for me I was still very lucid. Until the last three months, at the 1 year nine month point, I began to feel somewhat unclear in my head. Fortunately, At the 2 year mark, the ADT drugs was stopped. I was in remission. Then I was freed from the cloud of fatigue. I had radiation treatment, SBRT, after 6months of ADT. I experienced no side effects from radiation.
