I am 9 months in with the Evenity injections. 3 months ago I started with foot pain that is getting increasingly worse. I also have rheumatoid arthritis so I assumed the pain was from that. After researching, I see it's possible the Evenity is causing the foot pain. It was so bad that I decided to quit Evenity. I have had osteoporosis for 35 years and have been able to maintain -3.5 by doing one infusion after another. I'm praying the foot pain calms down so that I can take walks again. I'm waiting for Endocrinologist to come up with a new plan.

@lsigethy - my feet are becoming more & more painful. It is not plantar fasciitis for me. It's almost as if the drug is adding bone growth everywhere & the skin is getting thinner & thinner on the bottom of my feet. I'm developing blisters & even wearing proper supportive tennis shoes w/orthotics is not alleviating the pain.
I was told by the dr that the first 6 mo of Evenity is bone-building, while the second 6-months it behaves more like a bisphosphonate in terms of maintaining the gains. I'm about to take my 7th injection, so perhaps the foot pain will lessen. We'll see...
