@madje51 I take Vitamin D plus K, calcium, magnesium, eat whole milk Greek yogurt, and other supplements and food to help with bones. My last bone scan (2024) showed an improvement, changed to osteopenia. I get my next scan in one year, hopefully the readings continue to improve or at least maintain! I’ve had osteopenia for a few years, when it dipped down in 2022. I do take 2 Vitamin D, buy them online, NOW, brand, or there’s others online. I was told by my doctor it should be above the bare minimum for D levels on the bloodwork, a reading of 70 was her goal for me. My pharmacist suggested getting it online, not the so called drugstore brands.

@ga29 Interesting the D level that was suggested for you. I was taking a combine supplement from Vitamin Shopped which contains the calcium from algae, and K2 and D. My serum vitamin D level is in the high 60's now. Endocrinologist said the D level is to high and to stop any supplements with vita D? I seemed to feel better on these supplements but I went back to just calcium citrate do to him. So since an older female with hashimotos also why did he say that the D serum level was too high?
