I love love gardening, my favorites are rose and Jasmin. In the winter I keep the jasmins inside and though rare, even a single bloom can waft such heady fragrance through the home...
Love the smell of fresh rain when it hits the dry earth and love to catch a rainbow and have it bring to mind Dorothy singing "somewhere over the rainbow":)
I love porcelain dolls (Victorian ladies) and have collected a huge almirah full. I feel lighthearted and as happy as a child among them!
Love reading my favorite books, tuc ked up in bed on cold winter days with a huge mug of hot coffee!
Love watching the soft glow of lights on the Christmas tree late into the night when the livingroom lights are off and everyone else is asleep...
Love travelling with my Husband and daughter to the USA to catchup with my mom and siblings. love cooking mushroom biriyani, love gobbling up icecream(butterscotch and bananas), love playing in the swing, love talkingg to little kids and they love me too. (There were 2 incidents one at Sears and one at Walmart where lost kids approached me to find their moms and I did!).Last but not the least love discussing mind over matter with like minded people so very much.

Thanks Shalom for your beautiful and heartfelt description of all the little things that you find endearing < 3 ! I could almost "see" you talking to kids : ))) and having ice-cream and swinging - how fun !!! Oh yes - Christmas tree magic is unbeatable < 3 too ! Every year I make one with a different theme - this year it is very white and frosty : ))) - it truly shimmers. Victorian period is BTW my favorite and I always tell people that I must have had previous life in that period LOL. My second favorite period is 1920-ies. ha ha
