@erickthompson - Hi. I wanted to let you know I moved your post here so that you could return to this existing discussion on erenumab-aooe (Aimovig) where you'd been chatting before:

- Long term side effects of Aimovig? https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/long-term-side-effects-of-aimovig/

Also tagging members such as @hedjhog @msb18 @covidstinks2023 @mojo244 @jrsjc @tbgreif625 @annew21 @d1swimmer to join in and speak to whether they have had any cognitive or other issues with this medication.

Erick, what does your neurologist propose you do at this point with the medication and the cognitive issues you've noted?

Thank you! 😘

@lisalucier

Thanks for the heads up on the move. It's good to keep everything organized.

Right now I'm pausing my Aimovig to see if it improves the cognitive problems. It's got a fairly long half-life, so I won't know for a while yet. I just completed a suite of neuropsychological testing, so I will hopefully have some better indication of what exactly is happening.

Thanks,
Erick

Hello, I have been using Aimovig for @ 3-4 yrs. now and have not had any of the side effects that you are experiencing; mostly good results; less migraines, but I still get them even when I think I am following all my warning signs, no chocolate, red wine, etc.
Now researching B2 and migraines; some think this seems to help ?
