Hi! I had an incidental finding of a 1.7 cm probable meningioma in Sept. I am considered to have no symptoms but I get mild headaches and a mild feeling of being off balance that lasts a couple of seconds. Not sure if it's related. I also have swelling and mass effect. It's left occipital lobe midline involving the sagital sinus but no obstruction. A neurologist advised watching it, and 2 neurosurgeons recommended gamma knife with only one of them saying watch and wait is not unreasonable. A neurosurgeon who only does surgery advised that I am a candidate for surgery but also referred me to one on the surgeons who advised gamma knife. I had a repeat 3 mo. Scan which called it 1.8 cn. but no significant change from the original. I have an appointment in 2 weeks to discuss the results. Not at all sure what I'll do. I am 73 so that factors in for me also. Let's keep in touch!
