@jessie1990 No. I did not have an epidural. But your cancer is in a totally different location than mine. Ask the nurses why they are doing that if it would make you feel better. I'm surprised they are telling you all of this now. I would have thought your doctor would have discussed all of this in an office visit. I'm sorry he didn't. You have the right to ask anything before they actually operate. Did you ask for meds. for your anxiety? I don't know how they feel about that in Ireland. They did it for me in my I. V.
