@jessie1990 I hope you are getting all of my replies. One thing to remember about what is remaining of your original tumor, all of your reports from that came back benign. I think perhaps they just want to get the rest out because it was blocking your airway (?) And checking your lymph nodes, they can determine other things. I think they are making sure everything is clear, which will, in the end make some of your worries go away. It's all good ❣️

@jessie1990 Jess they will determine the next steps after they get a pathology report from what they obtain in surgery. If your tumor has remained stable from your last surgery, and they are just going in to make sure they get it all, I would not think you need chemical therapy afterwards. BUT, I am not a doctor. My new doctor is a NETs specialist, and he takes things in a less evasive manner than my first doctor. With my remaining three nodules, he is inclined to watch and wait...monitor them. Talk all of your worries over with your surgeon. After he gets to where he needs to in the operation, I'm sure he will be able to give you more information. Still praying Jess.
