I had several CAT scans. I know I had one before they did the actual surgery, and then again afterwards because they were trying to determine why I am having ongoing pain. My first surgeon has not been adequately evaluating my problem with pain. That is why I sought out a second opinion. I probably will not be going back to the first doctor.

@nannybb also told me it's typical carcinoid it's not aggressive but he will need to send off the remaining tumor and lymph nodes to check do I need treatments like chemo thought typical carcinoid don't need treatments like that
