Mine was Stage 1 adenocarcinoma and was 2.3 cm which is 23 mm! I had the surgery, they removed the bottom lobe of right lung and no nodes involved either. I am so blessed. But I will have to have CT scans (and boy do I have scanxiety) for the rest of my life - of course starting with 3 months, then graduate to 6 months and eventually (at about 3-4 years) go to one time a year......is that normal? Does anyone know? I was wanting scans a little more frequently until at least 3 years but my oncologist is bucking me.

How was the surgery done. I was told it is a hard surgery to recuperate from and more pain than open heart. Did they go through your side ribs,I can't wait for the pet scan on the 17 th and than I can start the radiation, I know I will have anxiety like you plus having the .9 cm in the other lung.
