I had two resurfacing surgeries in 2009 (De Puy metal on metal, left side) and 2010 (Birmingham metal on metal, right side). Current blood testing shows cobalt at 19.87 nmol/L and Chromium at 1.5mcg/L. Last tests before that in 2022 were Cobalt 22.0 mg and Chromium 30 mg. Not sure what ti make of these results as different measures were used for the blood test results. Are my current metal levels safe or high? Does this warrant an oath visit? Thanks.

@davidchampagne Yes, these levels warrant an ortho visit to determine if there is any deterioration of bone or tissue.
