1 ReactionHi, I am new to this. I have Secondary MS and I also have End Stage kidney disease. I was using a THC gummy at night to help me sleep, for my MS pain, and my terrible muscle spasms. But I found out that you can't have any THC in your system. So, now I don't have anything for pain. My primary told to stop using tylenol also. When I have my kidney transplant evaluation, I am going to find out if there are any pain alternatives that are safe for me.

3 ReactionsHi my name is Michelle I had adult scoliosis repair surgery in 2022 a rotator cover repair in 2023 about seven months after my back surgery. I started feeling like something was wrong October 2023 after surgery I don’t think they took me serious. I don’t know why I am at the point where I can barely walk. I am in extreme pain. I have all the time how do I failure? I’ve gone to the emergency room numerous times and they weren’t even do x-rays or any kind of test on me does anybody have any suggestion of how I can get help? I don’t know why the scans and x-rays are showing that there’s nothing wrong because there’s actually nothing right with my back or the hardware in it I can feel it either unused or never refused right the hardware is moving around them and back and I have no idea what to do at this point. Any suggestions would be wonderful.

4 ReactionsI do not understand either. Wish you had someone with you to speak to you gently. Do you have a pet at home? Or do you have a friend who can share a pet with you? Even though I am not there I will think of you and touch you with gentleness because I care about you. We who feel this pain send u hugs in the air because we do understand and care. As far as you can count and then more are how many of us who care. Count us as if we are there. Hugs in the air.

1 ReactionHello everyone,
my name is Penny and I live in Europe. I have been having peripheral neuropathy in my legs (first started in left foot) and hands for years. Additionally I have severe tongue burn as soon as I take a few steps, sometimes also in my lungs. As soon as I rest the pain in my legs come out and reach 7 to 8 often followed by muscle twitching and heavy cramping.
I have consulted countless doctors and specialists. So far I have only been diagnosed with chronic peripheral nerve pain. No over the counter pain medication such as Ibuprofen, Diclofenac, Novalgin etc. has ever helped.
I have been prescribed THC combined with CBD. Although highly dosed there was no postive effect. I have been given Pregabaline, but no pain relief, only side effects. Weaning of Pregabaline was difficult, pain increased since then.
I suppose the next "trial" will be some other antiepileptic or even antidepressant med.
I am not convinced, that any random medication is going to help until I can find the right diagnosis.
I would like to know more about trying out neurological medications before I start another run with side effects.
Please let me know what you think! Thanks!

1 ReactionI shall get back to you. I was started on gabapentin by a neurologist about 45 yrs ago for prrpheral neuropathy/ MS. I still take it and it us very helpful. Take currently 600 mg neurontin/gabapentin four times a day and can add more. Do sometimes. I started on less. I also take Tylenol with it. Sometimes have to take Tramadol but it is the Tylenol 1gram qid when take with gabapentin which help with perpheral neuropathy! I also use lidocaine and take OTC patches and cut smaller and spread overblegs and feet. Thank thanks!!!! I hope you canntry these with the gabapentin first! Saved me and still does! Best to you! Jimiwho!

1 Reaction@jimiwho i am new to how to do this. Use your dr for prescriptions. My advice is old as I am and i need help too. Just possibilities and only prescriptions work w drs. I still have endless days without muted pain ivef the too where I scream into pillows or pound my fists into whatever. Screams. Laughter if can distract me helps. Ludten to others about problems and help we all need. We hurt about things differently but hurt we all have. Just knowing we are not alone and crying until tears are gone snd another friend needs my help or I need theirs. At things all humans need. Love. Hugs. Breathing. Laughter. Sick humor. How to be alone snd not be. See a baby a rainbow a puppy anything which brings a smile. Sunshine on your skin. A hug. I have you. I need you too!
