Possible good news on availablity of LIFTMOR/ONERO program in U S
I have posted about this program before - who knows what thread it went to - but as many know, it is hard to find a PT in the U S who is trained to do it. Given the heavy weights patients use this training seems essential.
I live in south central PA, and the closest PT to me is Baltimore (and hour and a half each way) . There are two in NJ and on in Manhasset (Long Island) but that's just too far.
I asked a PT I once went to get involved but never heard back.
Now, however, it looks like the woman who started the program in Australia is actively trying to get more of our PTs to offer it. In the link I am about to post, they recommend patients contact their PTs -- exactly what I tried with no success - to get the training. Apparently it's only a 6 hour online course.
Here is the link , which will also tell you about the program if you aren't familiar
actually two links - i can't find the one I saw last night but here is one from a year before, just about the program
Remember the ONERO online program is not this - she even says that. It's just good for balance. This weight lifting program you must do under strict supervision with a PT trained in the process
OKAY - here is the newer link Please watch
