I was on Eliquis for a year now and I noticed tiredness, ALSO a real concern was that my eyesight started to become blurred and had to get a new prescription for my glasses. I always had good eyesight and so I connected the dots. I searched the effects of Eliquis (and I imagine all blood thinners) and it does cause blurred vision and can actually lead to blindness.

I consulted my doctor asking if I could just take a baby aspirin, she said I should definitely take a baby aspirin at my choice. She would not say I should stop the Eliquis.....which I figured she would not commit to my stopping the Eliquis. So I decided to stop it, my eyesight is of more concern. My husband was told by his cardiologist a few years ago that taking a baby aspirin lieu of blood thinners is ok. I do believe that doctors push medications now way too much.
