@kimcj8 I have been on it for 6 months after switching from 30 years on citalopram. I was on 60 mg. Of Duloxetene. I cut down to 30 mg for a few months. Now , For 2 weeks I cut down to every other day and just this week starting every 3rd day. I have read about people opening the capsules and actually cutting down by reducing some of the beads. They are extremely tiny! But I am thinking of maybe reducing those on a daily basis over a couple weeks by counting the beads. I think skipping days just feels like ‘cold turkey’ on the day or days skipped with the withdrawal side effects of headache, itchiness, etc amplifying over and over on each skipped day. I think I would rather try reducing the dose with daily use and slowing the tapering amount to see how that goes. I think I am going to take half the beads ie 15 mg for a week or so and then stop. Will see how that goes. Or maybe I will just stop now after a week on taking it every third day. Since I am feeling like it’s cold turkey doing that, maybe really going cold turkey to get it over with. Hoping I will have the full withdrawal symptoms only for a few days instead of dragging it out. We shall see ! Good luck to you.
