Has anyone experienced constipation while taking LDN Naltrexone, even at a low dose?

I just started taking LDN and I see a little improvement in my pain but it’s only been a few weeks. It can take a month before you notice any relief

Something that always works for me for constipation is a few raw English Walnuts. Sometimes works too well.

I’ve been on 3 mg LDN for 10 years. It’s the only pain med I need so far.
I have severe sensory motor axonal Polyneuropathy, ME/CFS, and fibromyalgia.
I have chronic constipation but it’s due to autonomic neuropathy, not LDN. Never heard of anyone having constipation from LDN.

LDN at 4.5 mg peak dose (thus far) has had no effect on bowel habits. No effect on neuropathy either as far as I can tell. (by the way, since everyone is different, and your mileage may vary, it may help others if you define your dose when you talk about various drugs and FX)

Yes! I have been hospitalized for the constipation that came from low-dose naltrexone… The fact is though the naltrexone solved my problem! I don’t wanna stop it! Yet look at the problem I have I literally have no bowel movements so I’m just looking for information

@db72 I have had terrible constipation from LDN… It has me in the hospital right now and yet the LDN I refuse to let go of because it’s so effective. I wish I knew there was an alternative.

I wish that I could speak with you if you are having constipation issues from the low-dose naltrexone. Because I not only had to stop it no one understands what’s going on, but I have had complete. Colon shut down and I’m going to wind up being bagged pretty soon it began with the naltrexone, and I don’t know what to do about it so sad to have to let go of the LDN it cured my problem, but created another one.

@db72 well, now you have heard of someone with constipation from LDN… My life has been changed because it virtually shut my colon down and it makes no sense because it’s such a fabulous drug

@luisa1010 I have a long history of constipation and right now I've been taking LDN for about a year. The only thing that has remedied the constipation has been the recent addition of prucalopride. Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs offers it at a reasonable price. LDN has so many other benefits, I hope you can find your solution to this issue!
