Is anyone using a cpap mask that's causing face wrinkles

I literally couldn’t wear any face masks b/c I felt like someone was smothering me—so I’d wake up and yank them off.
Thanks to my son, I discovered the Rio II nasal air mask. It’s a small mask with soft nasal pillows (not hard plastic cannulae) that I almost don’t feel. It comes with headgear and runs around $69.00.
I’ve gone from not using my cpap machine (dangerous) to using it from around 8-10 hours every night. I’ve begun to notice more alertness, less fatigue etc.
I never did get wrinkles from older masks (probably because I didn’t keep them on that long!) and that’s certainly not an issue with this mask.
Good luck!

@5148branelly thank you very much for sharing your experience regarding the cpap mask. I have tried several types of masks with one being a nasel mask. I was really excited to try it when I received it. But when I started the machine I had so much air coming out of my mouth that I had to quickly take it off, which I did and threw it on the floor. My issue with those is that apparently i sleep with my mouth open that the dr said it wouldn't work out for me. I too have gotten to the point of not wanting to use it all. I've had nothing but headaches trying to find the right mask and see true results. I have severe sleep apena and my dr keeps insisting that I do whatever it takes to use it every night. I'm happy to hear that you found one that works real good for you. I wish you many more years of great sleep 😴.
